How scores are considered

Composers are invited to submit work for Music Director Cristian Macelaru’s review. Maestro Macelaru strives to listen to everything submitted, though we are unable to provide direct follow-up or feedback. Only if he chooses to ask questions or program the work should composers expect to hear back. Composers under age 30 are encouraged to apply for the Conductors/Composers Workshop.

Guidelines for score submission (non-workshop):

Works for FULL ORCHESTRA ONLY. Works without soloist are more likely to be considered.
Links to 1-3 digital scores with recordings. See bottom of this page for hardcopy submission instructions.
Any introductory text about the composer and/or the works themselves is welcomed.
