How scores are considered
Composers are invited to submit work for Festival review. By submitting a score, you agree to allow us to review scores and share internally for consideration. We will not share scores externally or program the work without express permission of the composer and/or their agent/publisher. Composers under age 30 are encouraged to apply for the Conductors/Composers Workshop.
Due to the high volume of submissions, we do not guarantee feedback or programming; however, we do our best to review every submission.
This portal is intended to accept submissions directly from composers only; agents and publishers are encouraged to use other channels.
Guidelines for score submission (non-workshop):
- We are accepting scores for FULL ORCHESTRA ONLY (no chamber or solo please). Works without soloist are more likely to be considered.
- Pieces must be written within the last 10 years, with preference for pieces that are within the last few years.
- Links to 1-3 digital scores with recordings.
- Any introductory text about the composer and/or the works themselves is welcomed.
