America’s foremost festival dedicated to new music for orchestra, Cabrillo Festival has been reimagining the orchestral experience and building an enthusiastic community of artists and audiences for more than 60 years. During the California Festival, we’re were proud to present a LIVE online panel discussion of featured composers from the 2023 season. Music Director and Conductor Cristian Măcelaru moderated a conversation with composers Dan Caputo, Anna Clyne, Sebastian Currier, Xavier Foley, Jennifer Higdon, Gabriela Ortiz, Andrea Reinkemeyer, Peter Shin, Sarah Kirkland Snider, Carlos Simon, and Bora Yoon.
