Three composers in residence explore themes of identity, loss, belonging, and hope. After hearing oboist Katherine Needleman here in 2016, Kevin Puts wrote Moonlight, inspired by the film. Two composers make their Festival debut: Andrea Reinkemeyer with Water Sings Fire and Sarah Kirkland Snider with Hiraeth, accompanied by a film by Mark DeChiazza.
