Sarah Kirkland Snider’s Forward into Light is a vivid tribute to American women suffragists. Jennifer Higdon’s Duo Duel is a double percussion concerto featuring Svet Stoyanov and Matthew Strauss. Sebastian Currier’s Track 8 takes inspiration from Beethoven’s Eighth Symphony. Bora Yoon’s The Wind of Two Koreas explores the ideas of cultural blood memory and epigenetics while taking inspiration from Stravinsky’s early orchestral works.
