As we remember Lou Harrison on the occasion of his centenary there is great joy in seeing his music and his legacy remain very much alive around us. Lou forged his own path in the world, with great courage and conviction, and in so doing inspired so many to follow his lead. He was a catalyst for myriad artistic endeavors including the Cabrillo Festival, and we join his many colleagues, collaborators, protégés, and friends in grateful memory of an extraordinary artist and human being.
