Orchestra Concert: IN THE WORKS

The highlight event of the Conductors/Composers Workshop, this special free concert features three new works by composers under age 30, performed by the Cabrillo Festival Orchestra led in rotation by seven emerging conductors. No tickets are required.

Music in the Mountains

A fundraiser for the Cabrillo Festival at a spectacular private retreat in the Santa Cruz Mountains with wine and food tastings and silent auction in a lushly landscaped setting. The evening culminates in a chamber music concert featuring performances of works by composers William Bolcom and Karim Al-Zand, performed by Jason Hardink, piano; Cristian Macelaru, violin; concertmaster Justin Bruns, and Festival principal clarinet Bharat Chandra; plus a performance by bass-baritone Jonathan Lemalu.
