Donors Concert

In recognition of the important commitment made by our donors of $500 or more, we are thrilled to reprise our very special Donors Concert performed by brilliant Cabrillo Festival musicians. This intimate gathering allows a more personal opportunity for each of these talented artists to share more of themselves and their virtuosic playing.

In the Works

You’ll find yourself at the very center of contemporary music-making with a special free concert of new works performed by the Cabrillo Festival Orchestra penned by under-30 composers and conducted by six emerging conductors, all studying in the Conductors/Composers Workshop. The concert is a chance to hear new voices now shaping the future of orchestral music, and a fascinating look at variations offered by a conductor’s interpretation. Don’t miss the excitement when the creative sparks fly! This concert is free—no tickets required!

Family Concert: VIBE

The Festival’s cherished free Family Concert returns after a four-year hiatus. This year’s program features the delightful VIBE, a lighthearted symphonic exploration by returning composer Greg Smith. The ever-popular “Tour of the Orchestra” allows families to meet musicians and get up close with the fascinating instruments that bring music to life.

In Concert with Philippe Quint

The Cabrillo Festival presents Grammy Award-nominated violinist Philippe Quint’s The Muse, a chamber recital. The Muse leads the audience through masterpieces by glass-ceiling-shattering composers such as Ethel Smyth, Clara Schumann, Nadia Boulanger, and Florence Price.

Creative Coast
